TIPGO OUT WITH A BANGHow to best end your reception.

Nobody wants the party to end... everyone wants to continue partying into the night. But some point in time the wedding needs to end. So how do you end cool and exciting?!

Make an incredible send off! Have sparklers, confetti, or something when you are leaving your reception venue. Your guests will for sure remember it. It's also a great photographic opportunity and a fun and cool way for you guys to leave.

For a cool way for your guests to leave is to have a Late Night SNACK TRUCK out there. Think about it they are making donuts, bagels, pretzels, empanadas, anything!  People who are a little drunk or whatever they want to continue the night nothing better than leaving with a late night snack. So park that late night truck somewhere by your reception exit is a great idea.

That's our wedding tip of the day... we'll see you next time!

TIP:Reservations and accommodations for your guests

Very important for your out of town guests to stay somewhere so what a great idea is to give them a couple of options to where to stay.

Hotels, Resorts, AirBNBs

Hotels, Resorts, AirBNBs maybe 2 or 3 with different price points and different offerings.

Some people want a full service resort, with swimming pools, restaurants, FREE BREAKFAST!

Others just want something a little more budget conscience where its just a room where they can sleep in like AirBNBS.

BLOCK ROOMS

Also make sure you Block some rooms at these hotels. Very so often hotels will give a discounted rate to bridal parties and your guests.

RESERVE BAR

If they have a Bar at the hotel RESERVE IT! Best place to have an after party is there - its safe, easy and fun way to have an After Party.

Find a company that focuses and follows new wedding technology. What do I mean by that?

Drone Cameras!  Why are they so awesome? It will give you an incredible Ariel view of your event, it gives some great still images as well as videos and  it will for sure make for a terrific production value.

Go Pros! A great way to put it in your bouquet, give it to your officiant, put it on somebodies head during the ceremony, the reception, put it in the limo, where ever! This will add a really cool behind the scenes footage.

Choosing an off season:

T he most popular months to get married are in June, September and October and its no surprise why… the weather is abousoulty beautiful.

My take on this is to book on an off month like January or March that will for sure cut down on your venue cost.

The Day of the Week:

If you are willing to get married on a Friday, a Sunday afternoon or a even a Thursday during a holiday weekend you can save A LOT… people want to get married on a Saturday night on a prime month so consider an afternoon or off day and you will certainly save there.

How much should you spend on a wedding Gift?

These days especially weddings in New York City and Long Island are hella expensive so the amount of money you should spend on a wedding gift depends on your relationship with the couple and where they are getting married.

Typically it should be equivalent to the cost of per plate the venue charges and then how close you are to the couple add that on!

If you are a close friend or close relative: $300 +

Friend or Relative: $200 +

Co Worker, Distant Family Friend or Distant Relative: $100 +

PLUS 1 !

If you have a plus + to the wedding you should for sure give a little more on your wedding gift, when you think about it that couple will be hosting your date in count for food and drinks.
