How did you meet?
In 2008, I met Michael how any typical college romance begins... at a party in a dimly lit basement. He was one of the cutest guys and I knew he was special immediately. We became friends first for many years, through graduating and living in different states, but when he moved back to New York in 2012 we were inseparable ever since.
Tell us about the proposal!
Michael decided to take me to Washington DC for our 4 year dating anniversary to see the cherry blossom festival. We spent the day touring the capital until we found a quiet bench at the water basin. Michael gave me a book we wrote detailing the process of him making my engagement ring by hand starting with his great grandmothers ring! It was one of the most special moments of our lives!!
